During my PhD I will work on the optimization of the direct fiber collection of single photons generated by a quantum dot in a micropillar cavity and the integration in a portable cryogenic system. I will also concentrate on the design, fabrication, and characterization of new sources at a different wavelength.
I have a background in Nanotechnologies for ICTs and Quantum Devices (double degree master program between Politecnico di Torino and Université de Paris) combining engineering and physics.
