ESR4 Yueguang Zhou

Yueguang Zhou was born in Lianyuan, China, in 1995. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Electronic Science and Technology at Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 2017. Then he continued his graduate study at ShanghaiTech University and University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he got his master's degree in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics in July 2020. He also received the honor of outstanding graduate student in Shanghai for his excellent academic performances. In September 2020, he started his doctoral study in department of photonics engineering at Technical University of Denmark.

His current research focuses on the planar Integrated AlGaAs-on-Insulator circuits design and fabrication for on-chip Quantum Information Processing. In his project, he will devote himself to integrating critical quantum photonic components on AlGaAs-on-Insulator platform which includes III-V quantum dot single-photon sources, low-loss quantum circuits, and single-photon detectors.
