My PhD project aims at realizing an ultra bright source of indistinguishable, entangled photon pairs working with arsenide semiconductors materials. The work will consist on design, fabrication and optical characterization of such sources, focusing on two main topics: reducing the fine structure splitting and study the resonant excitation of QDs sources.
I have a background in nanophotonics from the university of Trento (Italy). I did my master internship at the nanoscience laboratory in Trento studying a single photon source based on intermodal four wave mixing.
