In my PhD, I will focus on the deterministic integration of quantum dots (QDs) into photonic quantum circuits. The self-assembled semiconductor QDs act as high-performance single-photon emitters and will be integrated into ridge waveguides by using in-situ electron beam lithography (EBL). Multiple QDs in complex waveguide systems will be tuned into spectral resonance in electrically contacted structures via the quantum confined Stark effect. The QD-waveguide systems also include on-chip beam splitters and monolithically integrated single-photon detectors to form prototypes of high-functional quantum circuit for applications in photonics quantum technology. I will optimize the parameters of fabrication and simulation to enhance the brightness, purity, and indistinguishability of single-photons of QDs in these quantum chips.
