In my PhD project, the main task is to propose new design of efficient single photon source. I will perform numerical simulations of the optical field generated by photons emitted from a quantum dot and try to ensure near-unity coupling to the waveguide as well as near-unity indistinguishability in the presence of phonon-induced decoherence. Several optical simulation methods including Fourier Modal Method and commercial finite elements modeling tools will be used in numerical simulations.

Previous education: Bachelor in Applied Physics, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), China. MSc in Electronics Science and Technology, BUPT, China.
